Delirium Village: The best place to drink beer in Brussels

Delirium Village in Brussels is the spot to be if you enjoy beer (or simply want to have a good time). Strangely enough, it sits in a little alleyway adjacent to the (tiny) Manneken Pis monument on the Grand Place. On closer inspection, it may not seem significant; nevertheless, once entering, a whole "beer world" unfolds before your eyes.
You read it correctly, it fells like seeping in a new world; the main bar, Delirium Café, holds the record for having more than three thousand beers. Beers from all over the world, including those from Belgium, fruity beers, spicy beers, and even some bizarre chocolate beers. After nearly ten minutes of perusing the menu and distracting myself with the decor, my husband took some action: He stood up and grabbed the 3 most ordered beers.
What I loved most, though, was that it's more than simply a pub; it's a complete neighbourhood. Located on the upper floor, the Taphouse and Hoppy Loft offer a pleasant ambiance in addition to craft beer.

Anyone can have a good time, whether they're locals, tourists, students, or even just passing by. In a positive manner, it's chaotic, loud, and full of life. Even if you're not into drinking too many beers like me, you'll come out with new experiences and tales to tell.
You must visit Delirium Village if you are in Brussels in search of a fun day besides the rainy weather.
A Quick Walk‑Through Plan for the brave:
- Start at Delirium Café and grab a tasting flight, stare at the world‑record list, soak in the décor.
- Go upstairs to the Tap house or Hoppy Loft and sip some IPAs or unexpected favorites.
- Cross to a Floris bar, try absinthe, aged rum or tequila in a themed room.
- Wind down at Little Delirium Café, somewhere quiet and cozy to cap off your night.
If you're not into beers, just walk inside and blend in with the nice chaos. You will not be dissatisfied. Now, to avoid any hangover, don't forget to grab your fries.
